Most workplace incidents don’t come out of nowhere. They are preceded by warning signs that are often missed.

In the fast-paced world of disability and aged care, your environment can change in an instant. Being a great support worker is not just about providing care; it is about having the situational awareness to stay safe while doing it.

In this high-impact, 40-minute CPD session, you will learn to move beyond “passive observing” and master the 5-Minute Safe-Scan.

  • No entry requirement

This is not just theory; it is a tactical toolkit designed for the frontline. We cover:

  • Environmental Triage: How to scan a room for “Access and Assets”—ensuring you always have an exit path and identifying potential hazards in the home.
  • Decoding the “Red Flags”: Learn the difference between a client’s “normal baseline” and high-risk deviations that signal immediate danger.
  • The Gut-Brain Connection: Why your intuition is a clinical tool and how to use it to make split-second safety decisions.
  • The Exit Strategy: Professional techniques to de-escalate or safely withdraw from a situation without escalating the client.
