This unit focuses on the skills and knowledge required to safely assist clients with medication. You will learn how to prepare for and provide medication support, complete accurate documentation, and encourage clients to self-administer where appropriate.

This training is designed for community services and health workers who are authorised within their state or territory to provide medication assistance. All skills are delivered and assessed in line with relevant Commonwealth and State/Territory legislation, Australian/New Zealand standards, and industry codes of practice.

  • Student must be 18 years and over

The class is delivered online.

Students must attend the online training session.
